Summer Camp 2010

SUMMER IS FUN... SUMMER AT CAMP IS FUNNER!  At least that's what we are Camp Luther believe.  Our camp is celebrating it's 60th anniversary this summer and I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to once again be a part of this great place. 

Growing up my parents often encouraged me to be a part of summer camps and as I got older I loved to serve at camps.  Going into my sixth summer here I am truly excited about this summer.  Our Sr Staff and Jr Staff teams are already coming together and we have an amazing team.  You don't have to just take my word for it you can check out our Sr Staff Bio page to see for yourself. 

I hope you would see the value camp has in the special moments it promotes, the creativity it inspires, but most of all the lasting impact that is holds and would consider having your child a part of it. 

 Our camp offers...  archery, canoeing, kayaking, board surfing, crafts, street hockey, skits, campfires, goofy cabin inspectors, water slide, rockin chapel times, trampolines, talent shows, wide games, candy shack and of course tons of new friends.  This year we will have officially tubing and wake boarding at both of our teen camps!!

*All of our camps start Sunday night and run through till friday night.  *(Sr Teen runs till Saturday 11am)

All our Kids Camps (Jr Camps 1 through 4) are all the same but different.  Each kid's camp offers the same exciting program with added aspects that cater to each age group's unique age specific traits.  We are excited to offer another week of kid's camps this summer happening in August.  Jr Camp # 2, 3 and 4 offer a horseback riding option at an extra cost.  Capture the Flag, Costume Theme nights and of course this summer, the INCREDIBLE MACHINE, are just a few of the things your kids will look forward to!

 Jr Teen Camp - Aug. 8-13 - Ages 12-14 - $305

Sr Teen Camp - Aug. 15-21 - Ages 14-17 - $315 (Sr Teen Camp runs till Saturday 11am)

We offer to teen camps.  Both camps will offer Tubing and Wake Boarding!!  Jr Teen Camp that can be, well... just plain weird, yes even weirder than Jr High days can feel.  TMB (Mike Fornwald, Youth Pastor from the Bridge Church in Matsqui) will be back this summer to share the Word and go crazy with us!  Our Sr Team Camp is our summer's big finale.  We will have non other than Koenraad Beugelink (Youth Pastor from New Life Church in Abbotsford) hanging with us.  Film production, hip hop dance and the infamous talent show will be just a few of the highlights from this week. 

Sr Teen Camp is also the week we encourage all of our Jr Staff to be a part of.

Day Camps offer full days at summer camp for campers ages 7-12.  Early morning dropp-offs (8:00 am / 5:00 pm pick-up) make it easier for parents to get to work.  Great for first time campers!  Day Camp fee includes camp t-shirt, daily canteen (candy store), lunch and all the fun of summer camp!  Day campers 10 or older who are registered in Day Camps B or C may sign up for the ranch option.

THE FINE PRINT

Full fee is due at time of registration (except Family Camp - $100 only due at registration). Youth camp fee includes registration, meals accommodation, t-shirt and canteen allowance. There is an additional cost for horseback riding for those who wish to participate - $30 - provided off-site by Matsqui Stables (15 minutes from camp). No experience necessary. Helmets are provided, you must bring shoes with a heel.

Early Bird Bonus - (Youth Camps) - if your registration is post-marked by April 30th (fee must be PAID IN FULL - post-dated cheques to May 31st are acceptable) you qualify for a FREE Camp DVD (comprised of footage taking during your week of Camp).

Family Discount - (Youth Camps) - for additional children in the same immediate family, deduct $10 for the 2nd child, $20 for the 3rd, $30 for the 4th, etc..

Confirmation of your registration will be sent out upon receipt of your application and payment. A detailed information packet, including a list of what to bring, what time to check-in, health form, waiver and any further instructions will be sent out 2-3 weeks prior to your camp.

Cancellation & Refund Policy - $50 of your registration fee is non-refundable. In the event of cancellation your registration fee, less the $50 will be refunded if notification is received 14 days prior to the start date of the camp you are registered for. There are no refunds within 14 days of your camp.

Dismissal - we reserve the right to dismiss a camper who presents a hazard to the safety and rights of others, or who appears to have rejected the reasonable controls of the Camp. Under such circumstances there will be no refund.
