MODULES TO CHOOSE

Below are the various modules you can choose from for your group. Click on the pictures to be taken to the outline of what your students will be learning in each module.

Recommended group size per module is 15-20 students*

*Boating Module requires additional adults in the boats to supervise students

We realize that you may have your own specific goals that you want to accomplish while you are here. Our modules can run alongside teacher-run activities or you may even choose to just rent our facilities and run all of your own programming.

  • The Archery Module focuses on developing teamwork, communication skills, and critical thinking through a combination of individual and small group learning experiences. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals and safety of archery, and will participate in a collaborative group activity.

  • Our Boating module introduces students to the basics of water safety and important skills such as communication, navigation, and paddling. Students will have the opportunity to immediately put into practice what they learn, either on kayaks or canoes. Older students have the opportunity to extend their Boating Module to include a Lake Expedition.

  • The Compass Navigation Module is designed to develop critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills. Students will learn the cardinal points, and the basic fundamentals of compass navigation. Through application of their knowledge, and working together in small groups, students will follow directional instructions and solve puzzle tasks.

  • 2 Modules to choose from.

The Craft Module focuses on giving students the time and space to explore their own creativity and personal identity. Students will be asked to try different techniques and take creative risks as they create a multi-media collage.

OR Students will get to try different techniques and evaluate their results while exploring natural textures and materials.

  • Team Building Challenges are an excellent way for students to learn basic communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills while also having fun and developing deeper relationships with their peers. Our Team Building Games module focuses on developing these leadership traits in a safe and fun environment.

  • Our Waterfront Module focuses on creative thinking and group collaboration as students are tasked with collecting materials for, building, and testing a miniature raft. Using an inquiry-based approach, students will work together to design a raft, procure materials, and test their design alongside classmates.
