PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST

  • Read through all pre-camp information
  • Keep an eye on your inbox for camp emails
  • Make sure your account is paid in full
  • Invite a friend to come to camp with you!


1 WEEK BEFORE CAMP

  • Check your email for pre-camp information
  • Update any dietary information that has changed since registering
  • Start packing your bags
  • Clearly label all of your items
  • Contact the camp office with any questions (our office is closed Saturday and Sunday, so be sure to ask anything you need by Friday!)
  • Start planning your family's Talent Show act
  • Start dreaming up ideas for your family's bottle rocket



1 DAY BEFORE CAMP

  • Double-check the packing list


DAY OF CAMP

  • Head to your favourite place on Earth!
  • Check in at Camp Luther at 3PM (9311 Shook Rd, Mission, BC)
  • Find out your accomodations, settle in, and meet the staff

Important things to know

Our staff is here to serve you with excellence and make your week at Family Camp as enjoyable and meaningful as possible. A few helpful things to remember:


Check-in & Out – Check-in begins at 3:00 pm on Sunday Julyt 26 and check-out is at on Friday July 31. If you will arrive at camp later on Sunday, please email program@campluther.ca to let us know.


Bedding – We do not provide bedding for any of our accomodations, so please come prepared! Cabins have all twin beds, and Retreat Centre rooms have one queen bed and one or two twin bunk beds.


Dietary Restrictions – If you or your child has any dietary restrictions that were not listed on your registration, please let us know at least one week before your arrival.


Wifi – We do have wifi on site but it does not reach all of the accomodations. The best place to use the internet on site is the retreat centre.

  • Clothes for each day (pack for a variety of weather!)
  • Pajamas
  • Hat
  • Warm coat
  • Extra shoes
  • Swimwear
  • Rain jacket


Toiletries:

  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Brush
  • Facecloth
  • Bath & beach towels
  • Hair dryer
  • Medication (allergy, prescription, etc)
  • Other personal items


Miscellaneous:

  • Bedding (cabins have all twin beds, and Retreat Centre rooms have one queen bed and one or two twin bunk beds)
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Water bottle
  • Bible (if you have one)
  • Sunglasses
  • Flashlight
  • Optional: skateboard, scooter, bikes (a helmet is mandatory with these items) 



What Not to Bring:

  • Alcohol
  • Illegal drugs
  • Marujuana
  • Tobacco Products
  • Weapons of any sort (pocket knives, etc)
  • Pets
