our top packing tips

  • Don’t buy a lot of new clothing - this is camp, and it will most likely get wet and/or dirty
  • Use ziplock bags to waterproof items
  • Leave valuables at home - don’t send anything that you consider irreplaceable
  • Clearly and boldly label all of your camper's items
  • Prepare for all weather - even a sunny day can turn rainy and muddy
  • Pack medications seperately - all medications must be turned in to the First Aid Attendant, so keeping them out of your bag will make your check-in experience easier
  • Comfort from home is okay -a favorite stuffed animal or small blanket can help campers feel at home—especially first-time campers (just make sure to label it clearly and boldly)
  • Help us keep camp clean - before (and after!) camp, put your child's sleeping bag or bedding in the dryer at high heat for one hour to help us avoid any issues with bed bugs
  • Double-check the list before you go!
