Why  Camp?

"Kids need camp. Today, like never before, teens and pre-teens are under tremendous pressure. Self-doubt, peer pressure, substance abuse, self injury and a myriad of harmful voices nag at kids every day. Even kids who have a strong support structure face obstacles. Camp provides opportunities for students to pull away and get a breather – to catch a vision for the bigger picture of their lives. Kids need … the Power of Camp." thepowerofcamp.com

With over 65 years of ministry, Camp Luther has become a great summer tradition for many. On lakefront property, with great facilities, incredible staff, fabulous food, awesome activities and affordable rates, this is the perfect place to spend a week of your summer.

We believe that to make this place special campers need to experience real relationships and real love that will follow them home into real life.  Our staff make that happen!  Each summer our team is dedicated to ensuring every camper has a safe, fun experience, filled with Christ’s love.

Kids get to experience these activities at all camps...archery, canoeing, kayaking, board surfing, extreme wide games, crafts, street hockey, skits, campfires, goofy cabin inspectors, slip and slide, waterslide, rockin’ chapel times, playground, talent shows, canteen, tons of new friends... and more!

If you have never been here before, contact our office to arrange a guided tour of the camp and it’s ministry. If you are a returning camper, we can’t wait to have you back!

“My goal as the Executive Director is for our camp be a place that I would love my own kids to be a part of.”

Power of camp

At camp, when children make new friends, explore the world around them, and learn that "I can" is much more powerful than "I can't", magic happens. In an environment created just for them, children learn real life skills, develop self-esteem, and gain a sense of independence and community. Whether children are playing, exploring creation, using their imagination, or becoming part of a camp family, they are creating memories that will last a lifetime.
