Our purpose in Camp Luther’s kitchen is to do the following

Food Services Assistant Manager/Lead Cook

(Full-time Position)


General duties for Food Services Assistant Manager/Lead Cook

  •        Assist with food preparation in a safe & timely manner.  
  •        Assist with serving and interacting with guest groups.
  •        Assist with the proper receiving and storage of food.
  •        Assist with keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary.
  •        Assist with orders, schedules, training


Qualifications

  •        Must have transportation
  •        Must be physically able to be on your feet for 8 hours.  This job is physically demanding, requires lots of walking, standing and lifting. 
  •        Must be teachable and able to learn our systems, as well as cooking for dietary needs.
  •        Must be willing to clean and help with dishes.
  •        Must be flexible with work hours.  Shifts vary due to the need and the season and could be any day of the week
  •        Must have Food Safe 1 certificate
  •        First aid is an asset
